Nippombashi Street Festa (commonly called 'Stofes') is Japan's largest cosplay festival, held annually in Osaka's Den Den Town — the city's famous electronics and anime merchandise district. The centerpiece of the festival is a cosplay parade through Sakai-suji, one of Osaka's main streets, which is closed to traffic from 11:00 to 15:30. A separate evening event, 'Street Festa 2026 SIDE-B,' is also planned. The festival is being livestreamed on NicoNico Live and YouTube, making it accessible to fans who cannot attend in person.
Entry to watch the event is free. Those wishing to participate as cosplayers or photographers pay a ¥3,300 fee. Official changing rooms are available from 10:00 to 17:30.
